TransformUrself - A healthier holistic lifestyle by Upasana Kamineni
“I can, I
will, I did”, this is the mantra Ms. Upasana Kamineni, the Vice Chairman,
Apollo Foundation and MD, Apollo Life, has stuck by to transform herself from
fat to fit to healthy. Having being trolled about her weight from the time she
got married, she has come a long way by losing excess weight and choosing to
opt for a healthier holistic lifestyle to achieve optimal health and physical wellbeing.
Upasana,
having understood the importance of a healthier lifestyle also understands the
need to spread awareness about healthy living and has therefore started the
#TransformUrself initiative. The #TransformUrself initiative is a 30 Day Body
Transformation challenge that aims to bring to light the importance of having a
sound body and mind. Master Personal Trainer from London, Mr. Rowan Tissera
& top nutritionist Ishani Vellodi Reddy will guide her in this journey with
regards to proper exercise and a balanced diet.
Daily workouts, a dedicated meal plan and tips and tricks to rejuvenate
the mind and body are a few things that Rowan, Ishani and Upasana will work on
to complete the Body Transformation.
One step
towards happiness is to make yourself healthy and strong and for this purpose
Upasana will be recording her journey and publishing the tips for a better life
along with experts in the field on all her social media accounts. Being mindful
of the food we consume, beating lethargy by moving and coping with stress
levels will enable an effective balance for peaceful wholesome living.
Tollywood
celebrities Rakul Preet and Ram Charan among others have lent their support to
this initiative for the good of the society. Ms. Upasana has also reached out
to the housewives of her ancestral home Domakonda and taught them basic
exercises that they could perform on a regular basis to remain fit and healthy.
She believes that India will get healthy only if they start moving.
